About InTouch

In Touch was founded in 2010 by Nabawiya Rahiman with the intention of healing the body holistically.
The therapies offered are mainly various massage modalities that range from Aromatheraphy, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, Thai Massage, and Rebalancing. Each modality offers a unique way of dealing with ailments and are chosen accordingly.

Together with these therapies , enery healing can be incorporated. These include crystal healing, reiki, cranio-sacral therapy.
Healing would be incomplete without taking the mind, body links into consideration and thus psychosomatic links are explored to gain better insight into the cause of dis-ease.

Natural Therapies further engages in offering advice on natural remedies, herbs, tissue salts, diet and correct eating. When we treat our bodies holistically, we give ourselves a chance to heal completely.

Nabawiya Rahiman has been practising for the past 12 years. She is a qualified professional. She lectured Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Aromatherapy and Natural Therapies at a College in Johannesburg for 7 years.

She believes that if we allow our bodies to heal using God’s resources, we will eventually free ourselves of ailments in the mind, body and spirit.

We won’t need pills and other emphatimines to cure us. All we will need is our innate intelligence.

"When we treat our bodies holistically, we give ourselves a chance to heal completely."

Massage therapy means many things to many people. In fact, a recently published scholarly article identifies more than 80 different styles of massage, many of which have been developed in the past 30 years! But to start, let's simply define massage as the manual manipulation of soft body tissues (muscle, connective tissue, tendons, and ligaments) to enhance health and wellbeing.

This definition excludes some kinds of bodywork, such as craniosacral therapy, Traeger, and Feldenkrais. While they are sometimes called "massage," they don't use manipulation of soft tissue as the main therapy. This definition also excludes therapies that are primarily energy work, such as Healing TouchReiki, acupressure, and reflexology.

Massage is often used for specific reasons, such as relief from pain, stress reduction, or enhancement of athletic performance. But whether there is a specific goal or not, massage therapy tends to increase the general health and wellbeing of the recipient.
